English Language Challenges

Hello my readers! Today I will talk about my relationship with English. The real thing is that I was never interested in learning when I was little because nobody ever told me about the importance of learning. Also my education in English was not good and that's why I never learned. I believe that the problem is in the way that it is planned to teach.

My difficulty is that until the first half I did not learn anything and when one grows it is much more complex to learn to speak English which is the most difficult for me. I do not have the vocabulary and that complicates me when trying to start conversations that I think is my goal and something that costs a lot, especially for the fear of making mistakes.

I also do not know the rules to talk about, but beyond the fact that it costs me the grammar, I feel that it is simply because at this moment I do not consider them relevant. By this I mean, that when we learned to speak we did not learn having the rules of the language, I think that goes after and since I have not achieved the above, this objective has not been strengthened by me.

And finally, I think that connectors cost me a lot, I feel that connecting the sentences through them costs me and it takes time, but at the moment I was practicing talking it was much easier for me.

My proposal before this is to practice, I feel that doing exercises of hearing, writing and reading every day can be greatly improved and I hope to achieve it.

Changes to my Study Programme

The first thing I would like is to reduce the academic load, this because I feel that it is excessive in all the races and that is not healthy for mental health. We are all stressed, tired and feeling bad and the truth is that I find it very sad because I and many of my colleagues really love the race, but the way we teach causes a toxic relationship with it.

I also feel that the link with the environment is left aside and is something important that is in fact in the definition of a university and is not carried out. Today the only practice is in the last year of the race and I believe that they should start much earlier and that they are much more important than the branches in which we are only asked to memorize things that we will probably soon forget.

And finally I feel that in the discipline the problems are always identified as if they were of the people when in reality they are social and have a direct relationship with what is demanded of us as students, as workers, with social, gender and other differences. they make life less bearable, we have to think that we are serving a system and only worrying that people are productive in society, but not that they are really well, happy, calm.

- What is your opinion about the immigration situation in Chile?
I consider that the situation of immigrants in Chile is precarious, I am sorry that they often take advantage of them, because "they come from a worse situation", I think that should not be the case, they should have the same situation as Chileans, In fact I agree with extra help when they arrive in the country and with greater opportunities

- What is your opinion about tattoos?
I think tattoos are great because through them we can represent things that can be important to us, they are also aesthetically beautiful, I want to become one. I think it's important to say that I would not tattoo my boyfriend / girlfriend, I do not want to be like Anuel. What do you think of tattooing your boyfriend / girlfriend?

- What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana and other drugs?

I think that synthetic drugs would leave them as illegal, but marijuana comes from a medicinal plant and although we agree that the same cause is much less compared to the legal effects of cigarettes and alcohol, in addition to being illegal and get through traffickers are many other bad components, so that would legalize.

- What is your opinion about the Chilean tradition called ‘mechoneo’?
The truth before entering university life I expected a lot because they had told me the experience as good, but now, after thinking and analyzing in truth I think it is a normalized violence many times and that there are limits that are exceeded in most of the universities that do it. I think the tuft could be different, they could be activities for example alliances.

My favorite technological device

Hello my readers! today I will tell you about my favorite technological device, with which I could not live. 

My favorite technological device is cell phone, I consider it so, since thanks to it I can perform several of my daily functions, whether of entertainment or academic, to this I mean that thanks to my cell phone I can have instances of recreation either by social networks or some other method of entertainment, and academically it helps me to study in a lighter way in case of having to read some text which does not have it physically and also to be able to be in contact with my different working groups where we can coordinate simpler way to do it.

The cell phone is also very important to me because thanks to it I can be in contact with my family, which is in region and is the only way to feel with them being so many kilometers away, also helps me stay in touch with my boyfriend who is also in region and I miss him as well as my family.

In all of this, I would like to raise a question, which leaves me a lot to think about because of the long time I spend on this and knowing that not only is it my case does technology consume us to such an extent that we are totally dependent?

Postgraduate Studies

Hi:

Today I will talk about my plans about Postgraduate Studies. Really, I don’t want to study anymore, but I still have certain dreams about this. like I said in my blog before I really like children and really hurt using drugs, so the truth is that my ultimate dream is to get a center for alternative therapies for children that is at a social level, and not on an individual level. This is why I need studies to help me and I would like in that context to be able to do certain postgraduate degrees related to this. One of the postgraduate degrees that draws my attention is from the "Universidad de Chile" and is called "Curso de Especialización de Postítulo en Terapias de Arte, Mencion Arte Terapia", besides one in Barcelona at the "Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona" which is called "Dansa Moviment Teràpia ". I hope one day I can actually achieve these goals because I feel that they could really be of help to parents, teachers and the social environment and without consequences for the child. Obviously these therapies would be accompanied by making it clear to those who take care of children that they are not really a problem and have a lot to deliver; the children are very special and I want to get them valued as such.

My future Job

Hi my readers:

In the Blog I will talk about my future job. The ideas for the future I like very much. My motivation to enter psychology was always for future work. I think a lot about and I have a many ideas. One of them has been to work in the south of Chile, but I want work in the islands, remote places and maybe do research, and specifically with children because I love the children since a long time. I would not like travel in my job. In the “preuniversitario” they told me that it paid well, but I’m not care much. Also, another one of my plans is to work in the SENAME, because in the place there are many problems I would like to solve, and in the place also they are also very childen, but the job is very emotional workload and the salary is low. Well, the only sure thing is that I really like children and the ideas of making a change. Well, I am not sure what specialty I'll take. Ah! I remember that I would like very much to be a teacher, but not from university, I want to be a college professor, but I can not with my degree, but I can be a school psychologist.

My favorite writer

My favorite writer of all time is Isabel Allende, She was born on August 1, 1942 in Lima, Peru, she is Chilean and from my point of view a very good writer. Her style is not complex; therefore, its reading is friendly, it is a rather realistic genre although there are magical appearances. What seems to me to be more interesting of this great author is that she makes clear references to the local culture that has a fundamental role in some of her stories. His work has given him several awards. I consider how your best text is "El cuaderno de Maya". 

The story is about Maya, a young girl with enough problems that ends up arriving the Chiloe, I like very much by the description of this place. You can even move to it, with “mate” shared by all and with different very interesting customs.

Why do I like it? because she feels what she writes and manages to transmit it to her readers, with a simple reading that shows us aspects of our own history. She is very dear and highly criticized.
